How to Wash Graphic Tees So the Print Lasts

A good graphic tee deserves good care. These general tips help prints last. Always follow the care label on your specific item.

Turn it inside out

Washing inside out protects the printed side from friction against other clothes.

Use cold water and a gentle cycle

Cold water is gentler on both fabric and print, and it helps prevent fading.

Skip the high heat

Air drying or low heat is easier on prints. Many of our tees are pre-shrunk, but high heat can still wear down fabric and print over time.

Do not iron the print

If you need to iron, turn the shirt inside out and avoid direct contact with the design.
